Nebbiolo grapes are carefully selected and withered in “fruttai” for at least 3 months to get an alcohol content of 14,5 degrees or more. After pressing, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature for 15 days. After that, Sforzato wine is put in small French oak barrels for 15 months, and into bigger ones for an optimum period. It’s the ideal wine for tasty menus as well as after meal. Limited Production.
