Fondazione Fojanini is closely connected to the Surgeon Professor Giuseppe Fojanini who, in loving memory of his father, gave his business to the Catholic University with the aim to build an educational centre concerning alpine agriculture in the province of Sondrio.
The provincial institutions were partners in this project, since they recognize the need to keep their techniques updated.
Since 1983, Fondazione Fojanini has given a great contribution to the Alpine agricultural economy.
