Vini di Valtellina

This IGT (Regional Geographical Indication) permits the production of a wide range of wine: red, rosé, white, sparkling, passito, young and late-harvest. The vines admitted are those suitable to be grown in Lombardy. White wine is produced with white grapes or black ones vinified as white.According to the Disciplinare, we find today new varieties such as passito and late-harvest, as well as Novello (young wine).
