Nino Negri


Sassorosso Vineyard produces very valuable grapes thanks to the South exposure, at 450 meters of altitude. Vines are Guyot-trained on a light sandy loose textured land with a yield of 60 quintals per hectare. Ripe grapes - vinified with a 10-day maceration - ferment at 28-30° C. They rest in steel vessels until December and then wine is left to age for 18 months in Slavonian oak casks and a part of that is barrique aged for 5 more months.
