Produced only with Nebbiolo grapes (Chiavennasca, the local varietal), its cru is a Nino Negri’s exclusive. Bunches were handpicked in mid-October (late harvest) to promote the concentration of sugar in the grapes. After vinification, wine completed its fermentation in small oak barrels for about 20 months and was fine-tuned in bottle for 6 more months. A Valtellina Superiore wine with a strong personality, a touch of spices, warm and elegant mouthfeel.
