The Inferno sub-zone is the smallest and steepest of Valtellina Superiore, characterized by differences in temperature during day and night and that is why this zone is called inferno (hell). A very structured wine, with a sharp and austere taste, ideal with red meat, game and mature cheese. Nebbiolo grapes are mainly used. Serve at a temperature of 18-20°C.
