Established in 2003 by the will of the associated producers of Consorzio di Tutela dei Vini di Valtellina has the aim of protecting, without profit, the territory, the landscape and the terraced wine environment, enhancing traditions and the cultural and environmental heritage of Provincia di Sondrio; promoting a multidisciplinary research linked to mountain knowledge and to the territory of Valtellina.
